KNF Properties is a pioneering platform in Cameroon that combines a property marketplace with a Property Protection Registry. We help property owners register, protect, and verify their land and buildings while preventing unauthorized sales and property fraud.

We are seeking dedicated Property Verification Officers to join our team and play a crucial role in our mission to make property ownership safe and transparent.

Role Summary

As a Property Verification Officer, you will be on the frontline of property security. Your work involves visiting properties, verifying ownership claims, documenting boundaries, and ensuring the integrity of our Verification Engine. You will interact directly with property owners, neighbors, and local authorities to ensure accurate property records.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field visits to properties listed on KNF Properties.
• Verify property boundaries and ensure compliance with GPS coordinates.
• Take geo-tagged photos and videos of properties.
• Interview neighbors, witnesses, and local authorities to confirm ownership claims.
• Document verification results accurately in KNF Properties’ system.
• Flag suspicious cases or inconsistencies for further investigation.
• Maintain professional and respectful relationships with property owners and local communities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards in property verification.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum high school diploma; a degree in real estate, surveying, or a related field is a plus.
• Knowledge of local property laws and customary land practices in Cameroon.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document accurately.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in various locations and challenging terrains.
• Basic smartphone and GPS navigation skills.
• Integrity and ethical conduct; trustworthy with sensitive property information.
