KNF Properties is transforming property ownership in Cameroon by combining a marketplace with a Property Protection Registry. Our innovative Verification Engine ensures property owners can register, protect, and verify their properties while preventing fraud.
We are seeking a Community & Witness Verification Coordinator to play a vital role in our Level 2 verification process, building trust and accountability through local community networks.
Role Summary
As a Community & Witness Verification Coordinator, you will verify property ownership claims by working directly with local authorities, community leaders, and witnesses. Your role is critical in ensuring accurate, socially validated property records and preventing fraudulent sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with quarter heads, chiefs, and local authorities to confirm property ownership.
- Contact and verify 2–3 witnesses per property via calls, SMS, or in-person visits.
- Collect and upload supporting documents, letters, and witness confirmations into KNF Properties’ system.
- Ensure accurate logging of timestamps, identities, and confirmations for each verification.
- Flag discrepancies or potential fraud cases for further investigation.
- Build strong relationships with local communities while maintaining professional conduct.
- Collaborate with Field Agents and Verification Officers to ensure smooth property verification workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum high school diploma; tertiary education in social work, public administration, or related fields is a plus.
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills with community stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone calls, SMS, and face-to-face interactions.
- Attention to detail and ability to document verification accurately.
- Understanding of Cameroon’s local community structures and property customs.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
- High integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive property information.
