We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing tech team and help build and scale our Verification Engine, driving innovation in property fraud prevention.

Role Summary

As a Software Engineer / Verification Engine Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the Verification Engine that powers KNF Properties. This includes building algorithms for fraud detection, integrating GPS systems, and enhancing data validation workflows. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure smooth operation of the platform and improve the verification processes at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Property Verification Engine, including fraud detection algorithms and automated verification checks.
• Integrate GPS and geolocation technologies to verify property boundaries and ownership claims.
• Work with the field agents and verification teams to continuously enhance data validation processes.
• Design and implement features for duplicate title detection, GPS conflict resolution, and document consistency checks.
• Optimize the system for scalability, ensuring it can handle large datasets and user loads efficiently.
• Collaborate with the UX/UI team to improve the user interface for seamless property verification.
• Implement security protocols to protect sensitive property data.
• Troubleshoot and debug system issues to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Stay updated with the latest in property tech, verification software, and industry trends.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in backend development (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.) and cloud computing (AWS, Google Cloud).
• Strong experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and API integrations.
• Knowledge of geospatial technologies, GPS systems, or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms for fraud detection or data validation is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot system issues.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate across departments.
• A passion for property protection, security, and innovation.
