KNF PROPERTIES – PROPERTY LISTING, VERIFICATION & PROTECTION PLATFORM

This Refund Policy forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of Use of KNF Properties (“Platform”) and shall be read in conjunction therewith.

 

1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

This Refund Policy applies to all payments made to KnF Properties for services provided exclusively within the Republic of Cameroon, including but not limited to:

  1. Property listing services
  2. Property Protection Registration (Protection Mode)
  3. Property Verification services (Levels 1–4)
  4. Field inspection services
  5. Government verification services
  6. Any premium, subscription, or value-added services offered on the Platform


 

2. REVENUE STREAMS OF KNF PROPERTIES

KnF Properties generates revenue from, without limitation:

  1. Property Listing Fees (where applicable)
  2. Protection Mode Registration Fees
  3. Verification Service Fees, including:
  4. Automated document checks (Level 1)
  5. Community and witness verification (Level 2)
  6. Physical field verification (Level 3)
  7. Government verification coordination (Level 4 – Premium)
  8. Inspection, agent deployment, and logistics fees
  9. Premium visibility or promotional services
  10. Subscription or bundled verification packages (if applicable)
  11. All such services involve administrative processing, system allocation, human resources, or third-party costs.

 

3. GENERAL REFUND PRINCIPLE
3.1 No Automatic Right to Refund

Except as expressly stated in this Policy or required by mandatory provisions of Cameroonian law, all payments made to KnF Properties are non-refundable.

3.2 Reason for Non-Refundability
The User expressly acknowledges that:

Verification and protection services are process-based, not result-based
Costs are incurred immediately upon service initiation
Certain actions are irreversible once executed (e.g. data logging, agent deployment, witness contact)


 

4. NON-REFUNDABLE SERVICES

The following services are strictly non-refundable once initiated:

Including but not limited to:

  • Automated document and consistency checks (Level 1)
    Witness outreach and community verification (Level 2)
    Physical field inspections and agent visits (Level 3)
    Government verification coordination (Level 4)
    Refunds shall not be issued on the basis that:
  • Verification did not confirm ownership
    Property failed verification
    Fraud or disputes were discovered
    Government records were incomplete or negative
    Verification reflects checks performed, not outcomes.

 

4.2 Property Protection Registration (Protection Mode)

Protection Mode fees are non-refundable once:

The property is registered in the system, or
The protection status is publicly or internally recorded


 

4.3 Agent Deployment & Field Costs

Any service involving:

Travel
Site visits
Inspections
Photography, video, GPS capture
Third-party agents or partners
Is non-refundable once deployment is scheduled or commenced.

 

5. LIMITED REFUND ELIGIBILITY

Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:

 

5.1 Duplicate or Erroneous Charges
Where:

The User is charged more than once for the same service due to a system error; or
A payment is processed for a service that was never activated by KnF Properties


5.2 Service Not Commenced

A refund may be granted if:

The User cancels the service before any processing, verification, or deployment has begun, and
No administrative, technical, or third-party cost has been incurred
Such refund, if approved, may be subject to administrative deductions.

 

6. EXCLUDED GROUNDS FOR REFUND
Refunds shall not be granted for the following reasons:

  1. Change of mind by the User
  2. Buyer or seller disputes
  3. Failure to sell or buy property
  4. Negative verification results
  5. Legal disputes over land ownership
  6. Customary land conflicts
  7. Government delays or refusals
  8. Errors or omissions by public authorities
  9. Force majeure events
     

     

7. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND BUNDLED SERVICES (IF APPLICABLE)

Where subscription or bundled services are offered:

Fees are payable in advance
No prorated refunds are issued for unused portions
Cancellation stops future billing only

 

8. PAYMENT METHODS AND REFUND PROCESSING

Approved refunds, where applicable, shall:

Be processed using the original payment method, where feasible
Be completed within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with Cameroonian banking practices
Exclude transaction, processing, or transfer fees where applicable


 

9. USER ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND CONSENT

By making payment on the Platform, the User expressly acknowledges and agrees that:

  • They understand the non-refundable nature of verification and protection services
  • They have read and accepted this Refund Policy
  • They waive any claim for refund except as expressly provided herein
     

10. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This Refund Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cameroon.

Any dispute arising from this Policy shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Cameroonian courts.

 

11. AMENDMENTS

KNF Properties reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
