Title deeds, claims, and evidence — explained simply
Not every “paper for the land” means the same thing. Here is how KnF Trust thinks about titles, claims, and supporting evidence.

People often say “I have the papers.” On KnF Trust we separate what is claimed, what is evidenced, and what an authority has formally recognised.
Claims
A claim is someone’s assertion of rights in a parcel — ownership, inheritance, sale authority, or mandate. Claims can be genuine and still incomplete. They need evidence and process.
Evidence
Evidence is the file that supports the claim: surveys, deeds, identity documents, court papers, photos, or institutional letters. Strong evidence is clear, recent enough to matter, and consistent with the parcel location.
Title and registration
A formal title or completed registration is a different level of certainty than informal occupation or a private sale agreement. Where registration is incomplete, KnF Trust still helps you organise the journey — including land registration workflows — instead of guessing in private chats.
Why the distinction matters
Buyers, lenders, and authorities read these layers differently. Mixing them up creates false confidence. Keep the claim, the evidence pack, and the official status labelled clearly on your KnF Trust file.
Practical tip
Upload clean scans, name files consistently, and note the date each document was issued. Reviewers move faster when the pack is orderly.
