KnF Trust · Legal information
Terms of Service
These terms describe the rules, responsibilities, and limitations associated with using the KnF Trust property platform.
Version 1.0-draft · Draft — Pending Legal Review
1. Operator and scope
KnF Trust is a property technology platform associated with KnF Properties SARL in Cameroon. These terms are intended to govern account registration, property listings, document submissions, verification requests, professional interactions, and supported transaction services.
The legal identity, registered address, company registration details, and applicable contact information of the contracting entity must be confirmed before these terms are published as final.
2. Eligibility and account registration
Users must provide accurate registration information, use contact details they are authorized to control, and satisfy applicable legal capacity requirements.
Account creation does not automatically confer verified identity status. KnF Trust may require email, telephone, identity, professional, institutional, or other checks before permitting particular actions.
3. Account security
Users must safeguard their passwords, login PINs, verification codes, and account access. Verification codes must not be shared with persons claiming to represent KnF Trust.
Users should promptly report suspected unauthorized access. KnF Trust may restrict access while investigating suspected compromise, fraud, or misuse.
4. Property information and listings
A user submitting a property must have a lawful basis to provide its information and supporting documents. Listings must not knowingly contain false ownership claims, fabricated land-title references, misleading boundaries, or concealed material disputes.
A listing is not itself proof of ownership, title validity, freedom from encumbrances, or authority to sell.
5. Verification services and limitations
KnF Trust may organize document reviews, geographic checks, ownership evidence assessments, and requests for confirmation from relevant authorities or qualified professionals.
Verification status reflects the scope and evidence of the particular completed checks. It does not replace an official land certificate, legally required registration, judicial determination, or independent legal advice.
Where confirmation from an external authority is required, KnF Trust must not represent an uncompleted or unconfirmed check as official approval.
6. Professional and institutional participation
Surveyors, legal professionals, financial institutions, government-related participants, and other service providers remain responsible for their own professional qualifications, authorizations, statements, and services.
KnF Trust may require credential review and may suspend professional or institutional participation where information is materially inaccurate or authorization is withdrawn.
7. Pricing, payments, and escrow
Applicable service charges, authority or professional fees, platform charges, and any escrow-related charges should be disclosed at checkout before payment authorization.
An escrow label must not be interpreted as a guarantee of payment protection or regulatory authorization. Escrow services may be offered only through legally permitted arrangements, with the responsible provider, release conditions, and dispute procedures disclosed to participants.
Refunds, cancellations, taxes, settlement timing, and transaction-specific obligations must be specified in the relevant checkout terms or service agreement.
8. Prohibited conduct
Users must not submit forged documents, impersonate owners or officials, attempt duplicate or fraudulent property sales, interfere with platform security, misuse personal information, evade payment controls, or knowingly misrepresent verification results.
9. Complaints and disputes
Users may report suspected fraud, incorrect records, disputed ownership, unauthorized listings, or service complaints to KnF Trust. The platform may preserve relevant evidence and restrict affected workflows while reviewing a report.
KnF Trust cannot itself determine legal title or substitute for competent courts, land administration authorities, or legally mandated dispute-resolution processes.
10. Availability and responsibility
Service availability may depend on network access, third-party providers, official records, and participating authorities. KnF Trust should communicate material interruptions and correct known platform errors where reasonably practicable.
Any final liability limitations must be reviewed for enforceability under applicable law and must not purport to exclude rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Privacy and electronic communications
Personal information is addressed in the separate Privacy Policy. Account verification messages, service notifications, electronic records, and optional marketing communications are addressed in the Electronic Communications Policy. Those documents must be read together with these terms.
12. Applicable law and changes
These terms are intended for a Cameroon-based service and will be reviewed against applicable Cameroon law, including relevant OHADA requirements where applicable.
Material changes should be versioned, dated, and communicated appropriately. Changes should not be presented as retroactively accepted without a lawful basis.
13. Contact
Questions or complaints may be directed to info@knfproperties.com. The final policy must identify the verified contracting entity and its official service address.
